Extra Sloppy

This was all I could think of when watching Wednesday's game against Yale. It could have been a prettier game if they played on a hockey rink with a watermelon instead of a basketball. Make no mistake, this was some bad basketball. 39 total turnovers. 39 total fouls. Neither team shot higher than 40% from the floor.

But we won, so I'll take it. Still, we've got work to do.

20 turnovers were ours. We gave away too many second chance points. We took a lot of bad shots. There were a surprisingly high number of ill-advised cross-court passes, many of which were picked off.

The bright spot was the defense. We were in their faces and did not give them easy shots.

We've been playing pretty well so far this season, so I'm going to chalk this up to over-confidence on the part of the Terriers. You know Coach Wolff wasn't happy with this win, and it's going to be a rough couple of days of practice leading up to the Notre Dame game.
