To Be the Best You Gotta Beat the Best: The Vermont Preview

Tonight is a huge game for our Terriers. The last two wins... they were nice. It's important to take out the UNH's and the Albany's that are near the bottom of the conference.

But tonight, Vermont comes to town. This is a different story, because BU is 0-4 against the best 3 teams (Vermont, Maine, Stony Brook).

If we fail to pick off any of these teams, we're going to be stuck finishing in the middle of the pack. Depending on how we do over these last 4 games, we end the season as high as #2 or as low as #5.

Vermont killed us in the first matchup this year. We kept Blakely under wraps, but the rest of their guys were hitting every shot they took. Luckily, we are MONEY at The Greek lately. Five of the last six games there have been wins.

Should be a great game - and it's on TV! That means I'm braving the snow to make it to the bar! Go Terriers!

Typical BU hoops for the past 5 years! Smack dab in the middle of America Least! Beat the teams below you, lose to the teams above you. The best thing this senior class does is LOSE, and lose the close one's! Perhaps things would be different if Chambers had been here all four years, but then again Chambers would never have recruited these losers! How many days until midnight madness 2011??

maybe it shows that it was not the coach! People have no clue what wolff had to deal with this group. Lowe being the biggest headcase of them all.

As long as they win come tournament time, all will be forgiven.

And exactly who recruited that headcase?! Take Tunji Awojobi away from Wolff (who by the way did NOT recruit him), and he had a sub .500 winning percentage. Talk about stuck in mediocrity!

Ummm...didnt BU have its highest winning percentage from 02-05 in the history of the program over a 3 year span? Maybe I have my years mixed up a little bit, but I think thats right.

and actually...take away Tunji years and I believe wolff was 171-141 over that span. So, way above sub 500. At least try to be close on your facts. Isnt that about 548 winning percentage?

Wolff was acutally 172-152 without Tunji, meaning you were both off. That being said, his last three years as BU coach was 38-51. Perhaps you could give him a pass the first year as he had his "heralded" freshman class, however, the last two years he was picked to win America Least! The greatest thing about Chambers first year is that he loses the bulk of Wolff's losers!

Wolffs losers yet everyone of you claims how great these guys are...you cant have it both ways. You cant say Holland is great and then say losers. Makes no sense. What year did you start the wolff record from. I must have missed one as I was adding it up.
